The Home Experience in mine came about during one of the most challenging moments of my life: the positive diagnosis of autism in my eldest son. When you get news like this literally you feel like your world is collapsing. Even though I loved playing “house” since I was a child, I liked to keep things clean and organized, when I got married, I came across a great truth: “I had not been raised to be a housewife.”
Working as an entrepreneur, dedicating myself to the church and trying to keep my house as clean and organized as possible, made me realize that I was not enjoying something so sacred with joy and gratitude. Neglecting time at home and with our family can have disastrous consequences. My son's diagnosis made me stop and slow down. Brought me home again and home to me. I know that not only my children and husband feel the positive impact of this decision, but everyone who lives with us.
Upon discovering Devi Titus and her materials, I felt a strong desire to get to know her and learn more from the ministry. It was then that after talking to her at a women's tea in 2016, I went to Dallas-Texas to participate in the mentorship mansion in 2017. Since then, I have never stopped. The Home Experience changed and impacted my heart on how I saw and thought about home. And this change was so significant that today hundreds of women seek me out to learn the “secret” of a more meaningful life and deeper relationships.
Now Trina Titus Lozano (his daughter) continues this mission, expanding the ministry and covering areas that I feel are so necessary for this time. And it's just the beginning of something mighty that God is going to do. I feel privileged to be part of this new era. Transforming our homes into a sanctuary of love and peace is my mission.
