🏡Home Experience in Portugal

Portugal is a relatively small nation in terms of land area, but it has an extremely high divorce rate. This number could be even higher if we were to consider couples who come together and separate without going through these statistics. It's sad to see the number of households that have been affected by this trend and generations that now see this as normal. With it's privileged location and pleasant climate nearly year-round, Portugal is known by many as the gateway to tourism, not just for its beautiful beaches and castles found from one end to the other, but also for all of Europe.

However, a door can let in more than just tourists, right? It was with this strategy in mind that the hostess of Casa Duarte opened her home's doors to start the first class of the Home Experience in Portugal, just over a year ago (July/2022). Bruna and her husband Diego, who have lived in Portugal for almost five years with their children, Sarah (6) and Daniel (4), are missionaries and founders of the "Word with God Ministry". For the couple, besides being a gateway for tourism, Portugal is also a gateway for evangelism!

God loves the Portuguese nation; He loves the European continent and wants to change this narrative because He can do all things! He placed in the heart of Devi Titus and her family the desire to pray for this nation many years ago. In her prayers, Devi asked God to open a door in Portugal for Home Experience. And God did!

Amidst connections orchestrated by God and people chosen by Him to embark on an evangelization journey through homes, everyone plays a crucial role in carrying out this work and, more importantly, ensuring its continuity.

Devi, who went home to the Lord on December 28, 2022, left a void in the hearts of many and also left behind a legacy that impacted lives around the globe. Her daughter, Trina Titus Lozano, is now responsible for continuing this legacy while also crafting a new one moving forward. It's like a new wine designed to further expand the Home Experience.

This September, Trina and her father, Larry Titus, were in Portugal to participate in several events where they spread the Word of God. Trina, visiting Portugal for the first time, was eager to witness firsthand the work the Lord has been doing, which began many years ago when she joined her parents in praying for the Portuguese nation.

Bruna, hostess of Duarte's Home, who works directly with Trina at Home Experience Global, headquartered in Dallas, USA, conducted her fourth class where they jointly hosted another session, welcoming to their table women from various European countries. A unique and hands-on culinary lesson was provided by Iris Dias, who lives in Madrid, Spain, with her family and has been mentoring women for many years.

On the 18th and 19th of September, truly special days unfolded, where God did wondrous deeds around a table filled with women from various backgrounds and countries. Yet, they all shared a heart aligned with a singular purpose: to serve the Kingdom of God through their roles as Guardians of the Home.
